Meghan Horvath is a filmmaker based in London.
In 2008 she directed the Channel 4 Three Minute Wonder Anyway,
Who Are You? as part of the Britain Recut series. The short documentary draws parallels in the emotional experiences of two refugees who arrive in London nearly fifty years apart. The film screened as part
of the British Film Institute's strand at the 2008 Sheffield International
Documentary Film Festival and also as part of the 2009 London International
Documentary Festival. The series was nominated for a 2009 Focal Award for 'Best Use of Footage in a Short Production.'
Prior to this she worked as an associate producer on Ken Burns's The War documentary series which was broadcast on American public television and was an official selection at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.
Originally from America she studied at New York University, and later received an MSc from the London School of Economics in International History. She was a 2009 participant of the European Social Documentary workshops.
